New iMac G5 with Frontrow and remote

 Apple has gone and changed the iMac into a Media Mac. And they said it couldn't be done! Actually, they said it should have been done a few years ago, but it is here now so let's be happy about that.

The big ticket additions:

  • Build in iSight
  • Remote control
  • Modest speed bumps (1.9 and 2.1 GHz G5's)
  • Frontrow  (an alternate UI for OS X)
  • Photobooth (an iSight powered app)
  • Mighty Mouse bundled

The iMac has also been working out it seems, since the entire machine is thinner. All of this and at the same price point as before. Apple has another winner on their hands.
