What we're watching:
Talk of MTV earlier in the day just made me want to break out my parachute pants and white glove for my right hand...or was it the left?
Anyway, I've decided to make tonight a "back to the 80's" theme and HDNet Movies
is helping. First up is "An Officer and a Gentleman" at 5:45 p.m. This 1982 flick is a classic so catch it in 1080i if you've never seen it.
We back up two years at 8 p.m. with "Urban Cowboy" starring a young John Travolta. Two years prior, Travolta starred in "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever" a year before that. What would "80's night" be without Clint Eastwood, right? We go from an urban cowboy to a real cowboy with
"Bronco Billy" at 10:15 p.m. I missed this one back in 1980, so this should be a treat!
