Samsung and Pentax getting together on DSLRs
Looks like these days the quick way for the big boys who're hangin' DSLR-free to get in on the action is to lend their name to a partnership with a reputable camera manufacturer. It hasn't paid off in dividends for
Sony and Konica Minolta quite yet (it'll probably be another year before they've got products on the market), but Samsung wants to step it up to the next level from all those nicer hybrids they've been making by working on DSLRs (finally!) with Pentax. We haven't been too inspired with confidence by Samsung's digital camera offerings in the past, but Pentax is obviously at the top of the game in the consumer photography world, so hopefully their jointly-developed products won't disappoint.
