Toshiba's pressure sensing phone vibration patent
We like patent mockup drawings because they give the artist within us hope that we too can one day use MS Paint to draw crap-looking product designs for multibillion dollar companies. This one is no exception, and is basically an idea from Toshiba for varying vibration amounts on your phone relative to the "degree of contact" between you and it. They sure think of everything, don't they? It appears to be designed for flip phones to sense how tightly they are being squeezed shut, and vary the buzz accordingly, but feel free to follow along at home with this one, we're having a little trouble understanding all this patent mumbo jumbo ourselves: what exactly does "the vibration unit can control vibration of the vibrator" mean anyways?
