Nite to Unite auction: last chance for Master Chief statue

In just 4 1/2 hours from the time of this writing, someone will be the proud owner of a 6-foot tall fiberglass

replica of everyone's favorite Halo protagonist, Master Chief. So far, the winning bid is $880 (plus $200 more for shipping), so only the diehard need apply. ESA's Nite to Unite auction now spans 116 different items, and here are the auction items that will be giving away the most money to charity:

  • $3,850 for an NVIDIA "Ultimate Aspiring Filmmaker

    PC & MORE    !" – a pretty decked-out desktop that also includes a camcorder, surround sound system, a nice
    flat-screen monitor, and "LucasArts games ...for when you need to take a break."

  • $2,425 for a Microsoft Xbox 360

    signed     by Bill Gates, himself (although the description implies that Mr. Gates is signing a Gift Certificate
    for the console as opposed to the console itself...).

  • $2,025.01 for the previously mentioned Lucas-autographed

    lightsaber

  • $2,000 for the two

    tickets     to E3, hotel, and Nintendo party (the same package that includes the

    Sony     party, oddly enough, is only going for $560)

  • $1,225.01 for a Microsoft Xbox 360

    kiosk     (Xbox 360 not included)

It looks as though this auction will easily spawn over $20,000 for charity, and if you have a big heart, a big wallet, and a big desire to own Master Chief, you better start bidding soon!
