NEC Showing off new 20" HDTV screen at DigitalLife 2005
Not to be outdone by Gateway's recent 21" monitor announcement, NEC shakes up their product line by replacing the existing n2010 display with their new n2050w.
They make your pocket happy by lowering the retail price from $599 to
$549, while adding an HDMI input, compatibility with up to a 1080i source,
PIP, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1366x768 resolution and all the other features you expect from your HDTV today.
The integrated NTSC tuner, stereo speakers and universal remote are just icing on the cake. Nice to see some of the features from NEC's larger screens trickle down into their smaller monitors, which may provide the best option for HDTV on your desktop.
