Oct 14: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching
:
NASCAR's Tony Stewart runs the number 19 car tonight at Charlotte Motor Speedway and you gotta catch a few minutes of this. Why, just because it's in 1080i on TNT-HD at 8 p.m.? That's part of the reason, but this is the debut of the Texas Instruments-sponsored DLP car!
C'mon: a "high-def" sponsor in a high-def race broadcast. Does it get any better? Actually it does since the race is under the lights and they look even better in high-def!

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
