Apple drops Samsung deal

Apple has dropped a joint venture with Samsung that had the company manufacturing flash memory chips for Apple. According to reports, Apple is now in talks with a US-based chip manufacturer.

Recently, two Samsung executives were found guilty of conspiring to help the children of the group's chairman buy a majority stake in an affiliate at below-market prices.
