ATI talks about Avivo, future of HDTV on PC

 
Because apparently we need to have it explained to us why having 64 times the available number of colors is a good thing. ATI's director of marketing talks with The Inquirer about how they can make your LCD screen look better. I'd mention  hardware accelerated 1080i h.264 decoding, but that would just be piling on. In other ATI news, updated Catalyst drivers are available, bringing them to version 5.10, only a couple weeks after releasing version 5.9. These latest drivers include support for their Crossfire technology, support for the new MCE enhancements, and various bugfixes.
