Apple plans for second retail store in Manhattan

Apple is currently working on a new, 20,000-square-foot Apple Store in the General Motors Building at Fifth Avenue, between 57th and 58th in Manhattan. Apple's focus on this store has prompted them to scrap earlier plans for a store in Manhattan's Flatiron District. This new location will be Apple's third store in New York City.

And with that, my dream of "Apple Store Cape Cod" slips even further away.
