Elgato CEO to head Apple Germany

Freddie Geier, soon to be former CEO of Elgato Systems, has been hired by Apple to become Managing Director of Apple's subsidiary in Germany. Elgato Systems is, of course, the purveyor of eyeTV which lets you record TV on your Mac.

Given Apple's recent release of Front Row could there be more than meets the eye to this? Let the rumors swirl!
