Portable DTV, no it's NOT the new iPod

This doesn't natively work with the new video iPod, but the concept has potential. LifeView's new TV Walker Flash is a combination DTV set-top and USB drive for DVB-T digital signals. DVB-T is the digital terrestrial signal heavily adopted in Europe and Asia so don't look to use this here in the U.S.

The five-inch long USB flash storage unit connects to an antenna to pull in and record digital television programming. Once you have the shows you need, you simply pop the unit into the USB 2.0 port of a computer and watch your programming. LifeView worked with Ulead to help convert the files into MPEG-4 format on the flash drive. Since LifeView makes products for the North American market,
I'd bet you'll see an NTSC version in the future.
