HDTV in the palm of your hand: PQI m600
Speaking of handheld devices that can encode and decode high definition video, our friends at Engadget mention the powerful PQI m600, capable of outputting up to 1080i video to your (or someone elses) HDTV. MPEG-1, 2 or 4? not a problem, plus MP3, Ogg, and DivX, Xvid and AVI playback.
More than just a pocket video player, they expect to offer gaming, GPS and PDA functionality down the road. It also pumps 5.1 surround via a digital audio out, but has an anemic battery life of around 4 hours.
Oh well, thats the price you pay for beauty I guess.
