QDA Oh! Pocket PC phone from Qool Labs
Well Qool Labs has finally gotten around to announcing their Windows Mobile powered QDA device we saw in July. Unfortunately they picked up Windows Mobile 2003 SE for the OS, which doesn't really fill our Pocket PC
phone-toting hearts with joy. The QDA Oh! runs on a Freescale 266MHZ ARM processor, which they claim equals the 500 MHz offering of that other chip maker, but we'll just have to wait and see. The screen ain't nothing special: 2.8-inch with a 240 x 320 resolution, and it's missing WiFi, but the handheld does sport Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The QDA should be available late 2005, but we'd better be seeing a pretty low price-point if they want a second glance when it finally comes around.
