Video game pumpkin carving contest (Joyswag)

Here's a chance to put your game-given manual dexterity to the test. Joystiq readers are hereby invited to compete for glory, fame, and a bit of loot in our first pumpkin carving contest. Here's how to compete.

  • First, obtain a pumpkin. Sorry, but younger siblings, children, spouses, and family pets are
    ineligible as canvases for the purposes of this contest.

  • Next, apply a knife to the pumpkin, creatively, to transmogrify it into something video-game related. If
    it's not obvious (such as the picture at right) you'll have to spell it out for us.

  • Take a photo of your artwork.

  • Post a link to your photo in the comments area of this post by midnight ET on Friday, October
    28    . Feel free to enter more than once if you create more than one game scene.

  • We'll select the best entries for reader vote.

  • The carver of the pumpkin that wins the most votes will be contacted and offered one free title from the list of
    games that we're currently reviewing.
