GameStop giving away virtual Nintendogs swag

Nintendo and GameStop have decided to be generous with all those Nintendogs fans: from this Friday (October 28) through Sunday (October 30), bring your DS and a copy of Nintendogs to any GameStop to download star-shaped sunglasses for your puppy and a voice greeting from Haylie Duff ("Summer" from the much over-quoted Napoleon Dynamite).

As part of the event, dubbed "Nintendogs Tricks and Treats Weekend," Nintendo and GameStop are donating
$50,000 to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The ASPCA has lauded Nintendogs as a good way to test "whether [people] are ready to handle the real thing (dog ownership)." Anyone planning on taking their DS to GameStop this weekend?
