Matsushita profits jump again

Sony might be sufferin', but Matsushita is rockin' and rollin'. The parent company to Panasonic reported an 11% jump in quarterly profits. Sony, by comparison, reported 50% less profit from the prior year's quarter. Does anyone know the Japanese translation for "In yer face?"

This quote says it all I think: "We simply don't have enough product," Matsushita Senior Managing Director Tetsuya Kawakami said at a news conference, referring to its plasma display TVs. "We can't produce enough panels to keep up with demand.". That's a tough problem Mr. Kawakami has, wouldn't you say? I'll bet Sony wishes they had that problem!
