Norcent's new 42-inch HD Plasma

Here it is folks. The first 42-inch high definition plasma with a suggested retail price under $2,000 brought to you from Norcent: the PT-4240HD.
We all said that it was going to happen before Christmas; there was no doubt in our minds. The panel is from a lower tier manufacturer so videophiles out there; you may want to skip to the next post.

It has the required ATSC tuner with component, composite, and DVI, yes I said DVI. No HDMI on this guy. I don't see anything to say that the DVI input is HDCP compliant. Norcent added "two built-in 5-watt speakers [to] recreate the cinematic experience with dynamic, realistic audio." GREAT! But hey, it is under $2,000.
