iTunes for Treo 650 (sort of)

iTunes on a Treo 650? Well, sort of. Tea Vui Huang has created a program called Mass Storage Synchronizer 1.3 that will allow you to synchronize some phones and PDA's with iTunes for Windows. Supported phones/PDA's:

  • Treo 650,
  • Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone,
  • the Sony Ericsson P900/P910,
  • the Sony Clie
  • NokiaSeries 60 phones with MP3 player
  • Samsun g mobile phone with built-in MP3 player

It's a Windows-only program, but is interesting because it's opening up the iTunes-synching market to devices other than iPods. I wonder if Apple will "update" iTunes to break this kind of non-iPod (or non-Apple approved iTunes phones) synchronization.
