Scala RiderBluetooth headset for motorcycle helmets reviewed
CNET has a review up on that Cardo Scala Rider Bluetooth headset for motorcycle helmets we were kind of digging in May.
There is an external battery pack to mount to your helmet, from which the speaker and microphone extend, but they didn't have much trouble installing it, and they claim the sound quality and battery life are pretty good. Also, along with regular volume controls, there is automatic volume adjustment based on your speed and engine noise, though the reviewer says it can get a bit too loud at times. CNET says the hands free dialing only worked about half the time, and the physical controls that are available a tad small, so good luck with navigating those 90 mph curves while taking that 15th call from your mom to make sure you're riding safely.
