Nov. 6: What's on HDTV today
What we're watching: "The West Wing" is a double shot of live entertainment at 8 p.m. tonight. First of all, it's a live, 1080i broadcast on NBC with presidential debate moderated by Forrest Sawyer! If that name isn't big enough for you, our own Bob Sassone over at TV Squad will be live-blogging the show.
Is this the first live-blog of a live debate for two fictional presidential candidates? Bob fires up his coverage at 7:45 p.m.; press passes are optional.
After the debate, I'm whipping over to CBS
for the movie "Category 7: The End of the World." Part of me wishes this made-for-TV movie wouldn't air so soon after our recent natural tragedies on the Gulf Coast, but I'm going to watch this anyway due to the expected visuals. Come to think of it, maybe I can put off buying that new universal remote and make another donation to The American Red Cross instead.
After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
