AMO Woo 500CL Wooden PCs

We've seen a handful of
wood-clad PCs, and they're virtually all models we wouldn't even stash in an airless data center, let alone display proudly in a home office,
which is where most makers would like us to put them. And the Woo 500CL from Japan's AMO doesn't really change that,
though it does have a few nice features, including a front-mounted LCD display. The real problem here is that this is just too bulky. If AMO had used, say, a Shuttle-style small-form-factor case, this could have been a winner. Instead,
it looks like a typical tower PC with a veneer slapped on it, and that's something we can definitely do without.
