MicroSD shortage may affect cellphones

If you're planning on picking up a new cellphone that has a microSD slot, you'd better get it now. Sources in Taiwan are predicting a continued shortage of the diminutive flash cards, due in part to a shortage in the unique packaging used in the cards, and to more complex production processes. Of course, there could be a silver lining to the shortage:
It may actually allow Motorola to declare the microSD-equipped
ROKR E1 (pictured) a success, if the company finds that it can't meet consumer demand for the phone.
