Weaving added to Middle-Earth II voice cast

"Miss-ter Anderson...", whoops, I mean, "Miss-ter Baggins." Hugo Weaving has been added to the voice cast of EA's
Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II where he will reprise his role as Elrond. According to Weaving, "No one ever really says goodbye to it [the LOTR franchise] because it seems that you were always coming back." He has also lent his voice to Atari's The Matrix: Path of Neo as the indomitable Agent Smith.

The first Battle for Middle-Earth featured the voice talents of Ian McKellen, Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis,
and Elijah Wood – with adequate stand-ins for Orlando Bloom and Viggo Mortenson. The addition of Weaving to the sequel's cast should please Rings fans, however there is still no solid release date for the game.
