LCD's going 1080p in 2006

Digitimes reports
that LCD manufacturers are going to make the jump from 720p to 1080p in a big way next year. As they get their seventh-generation lines going, they expect to produce full high definition panels in sizes of 32" and up. Taiwan's Chi Mei Optoelectronics will be producing 100% 1080p panels by 2007.

So do you think there will be an LCD screen next to that PS3 next Christmas?
