Big Boy Toys show going on in NZ

For our friends on the bottom of the world (how do you people live like that, y'know, all upside down and whatnot, doesn't the blood rush to your head?), today is the last day of the The Ultimate Big Boy Toys 2005
show, where Kiwi's and anyone else in the area can check out Sharp's
$20,000 65" Aquos LCD TV. They'll also be showing off the Xbox 360 in New Zealand for the first time, as well as cars, boats, ATV's and of course, scantily clad women.

The mainstream media gets it wrong again reporting on HDTV's, this guy
is very impressed by Sharps ginormous TV at the show, but tells people if a screen doesn't have an integrated HD tuner, you will never be able to watch true high definition content on it. I don't know, maybe there are no plans to ever release external tuners or cable boxes in the land down under, not Vegemite compatible? (my apologies, it's not often I
get to post about NZ so I have to work in all the stereotypes and puns I can, anyone got an idea for a Foster's joke?)

Is that where Kevin went this weekend? I dunno, but consider my ticket booked for next year.
