Nov.14: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching: After a long weekend of no high-def, I have to chill out tonight. I don't think I
can take something as intense as "CSI: Miami" or "Monday Night Football", so instead, I'm opting for something along the lines of a stunning and relaxing documentary.

At 8:30 p.m., I'll hit
EquatorHD, which is one of the great high-def channels from VOOM.
"Penguins Under Siege" sounds like a Steven Seagull Seagal
movie about numchuck-wielding birds in suits, but it's actually a show on the struggles penguins face. These aren't the happy fellows that waddle in Antarctica; these are the birds that inhabit the harsher coast of SouthEastern Africa, so I'm expecting to gain a flock of info.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
