Triple-tuner DIRECTV media center

In a move to change the Picture-In-Picture (PIP) acronym to PIPIP,
DIRECTV looks to equip their own brand of PVR with three tuners. Deets are sketchy, but it's a good bet that the box will have two satellite and one ATSC tuner. Hey, other boxes have that now but what about media center capabilities thanks to the expected networking function? Ooohh, I think my two HDTVs just smiled.

Based on the pics so far, I don't see a type of jack that's missing here.
We've got USB, HDMI, components, composites, analogs, optical, you name it. Smart move on DIRECTV's part since not everyone has a digital set just yet. The best part of all: the unit appears to be both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 compatible and fully software upgradeable. On paper this sounds like a great digital transition device; we'll camp out on DIRECTV's doorstep and watch for more info.
