Apple Store Rome?

Heads up, Italy: There may be an Apple Store coming your way. According to a couple of reports, Apple may be prepping a retail store for Rome, which would be its first foray into continental Europe. If ifo Apple Store is correct, the store could open along Via Condotti or Via del Corso, sometime next year.

I'll be happy for all you Italian Mac users if this comes to fruition, but I can't help but think...You can go to Rome but not Cape Cod, Mass?  Come on, Apple, help me out here.
