Robot to handle med ampules

Doctors and pharmacists have enough to do, without having to spend time sorting fragile glass ampules of medicine, right? That's the idea behind the Japan-developed ampule-sorting robot. The robot solves glare problems inherent in sorting shiny glass bottles with a unique 3D imaging system, which the developers say enables it to read barcodes more accurately. Sure, this is bound to make hospitals and pharmacies more efficient, but who are you going to sue when you get the wrong med?
