True gamers play everything?

An unlikely Xbox buyer who works at a PlayStation store said yesterday while waiting in a 360 line that, "You can't be a true gamer unless you play everything." While the definition of a "true gamer" is anyone's guess, does a true gamer play all systems, or can one still
keep it real while tying loyalties to a single platform?

Nothing wrong with a little enthusiasm so long as it stays logical, right?
