Nov.24: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching
:
Thanksgiving is completely made for spending time with family and what better way to do that than by watching a good family movie in high-definition? There are two good choices tonight, so take your pick!

Fox
is airing "Daddy Day Care" at 8 p.m. in 720p and stars Eddie Murphy. I've always loved Murphy's early comedy skits and his comedic talent lends itself nicely to a good, clean movie as well.

If your family prefers a great animated flick in HD, then click on ABC
at 8:30 p.m. for "Finding Nemo" in 720p. This is a great film that shines in 480p on DVD, so a 720p version ought to knock your socks off!
The underwater scenery is extremely well done by Pixar and Ellen DeGeneres steals some scenes with her ditzy, but entertaining character.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
