Apply now for GDC Scholarship, 25 students to be awarded full-access passes

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has begun accepting applications for the 2006 Game Developers Conference (GDC) Scholarship Program. Students who fill out a basic form and answer a few short-form essay questions (each is 100 words or less) might earn a fully paid ticket to the Game Developer's conference beginning March 20th, 2006.

If you're a student and are at all interested in a career in games, don't hesitate to give this a shot. The conference is an excellent learning and networking opportunity and loads of fun to boot. This year, conference attendees were treated to a demo of Spore by Will Wright
plus all sorts of other educational presentations.

The only downside to this scholarship program is that you'll need to join the IGDA as a student member ($30 per year) to be eligible for the scholarship.
