Nov.27: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching: I usually catch
"Desperate Housewives" if I have the time; you know it's one of those shows I'll 'PVR' and watch later unless there's nothing going on Sunday night. Tonight, however, I think I'm going to tune in to ABC at 9 p.m. to catch it live in 720p. The reason: somethings up and I want to see it firsthand.

The show is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 on the dot, but it's listed as "1 hour and 1 minute" long. Hmm....I thought that was a typo, but then I checked the next show, "Grey's Anatomy", and sure enough, it's slated to start at 10:01 p.m. It might not be a big deal, but I have to say that "Desperate Housewives" is starting to bring back the intrigue and solid storylines that we used to see in the first season.
