Pantech's IM-8600 5 megapixel cameraphone debuts

Unless Helio wants to pull a rabbit out of their hat, we're probably not going to get the IM-8600, Pantech's 5 megapixel cameraphone we first heard about not so long ago. But if you're ok with the fact that you may never lay eyes on it, it maybe of some small interest that it's an inch thick, has a 2-inch QVGA display, and will run you a good
$700 US in the South Korean market. They also introduced the less-notable IM-8700, a slider that features a rotating 2 megapixel camera. But if you're going find yourself out Korea way, seems like the extra $100 you'd spend on its 5 megapixel sibling would be better spent — assuming these are GSM, anyway.
