Adding big storage to your Xbox 360
A couple days ago, we lusted for the heavily-modded Xbox 360 put together by video game retailer and service company Llama.com. They've now posted a guide to adding a large-capacity storage device to your Xbox 360. It's actually pretty easy. Here's a quick summary of how it's done.
-
You'll need ANY hard drive, plus a USB 2.0 to ATA adapter
-
Format the drive as FAT32 (special software such as Partition Magic may be required for drives over 32GB in
size) -
Put your media on the drive
-
Plug the now-full drive in to the USB slot on the Xbox 360
So simple, even Paris Hilton could do it. Then again,
what won't she do?
