Do you really need HD for gaming?

Well, we know the answer to that, but not everybody does. This article
is slightly mistitled however, as they are comparing Xbox 360 games to their Xbox counterparts, but only in standard resolutions on non-high definition TV's. Why anyone would reduce themselves to gaming in standard definition I don't know, but if you do will you still notice a difference?

Answer: It depends on the game.

Obviously,
how much time the developer decides to put in reworking the game for a different console is the biggest factor and not all will. I know of the three games I've purchased so far, only one (NBA 2K6) is available on the original Xbox, have any of you purchased or are considering purchasing multiplatform titles for your next generation console(s)?
