HDTV UK has a report on Telewest's "TV Driver" system

The first HDTV broadcasts available in the UK hit yesterday and HDTV UK was there to take a look at it. Oddly though, it seems that Telewest isn't currently broadcasting HDTV in a usual channel format, but rather automatically downloading the shows to users DVR's for On Demand viewing. The DVR has 120GB of storage, good for about 20 hours of HD programming.

Hmmm, thats an interesting way of distributing the limited HD content they have so far, would you be interested in having most or all of your HD on demand?
