China Games Summit held in Shanghai

An international mix of game developers, publishers, and other industry professionals assembled at the Shanghai Hilton yesterday for the China Games Summit. The objective of the conference was to discuss global gaming trends and associated production and creative issues — and eat really good Chinese food!

Representative companies included Microsoft, Ubisoft Shanghai, Factor 5, and Chinese online gaming companies
The9 (WoW), and
Shanda Entertainment (D&D Online, Legend of Mir). Event organizer The CMP Game Group is also responsible for the 2006 Game Developers Conference in San Jose.
