Dec. 8: What's on HDTV Today

What we're watching: It's a mixed bag for me tonight: a little music followed by a little outdoor adventure, but it's all in 1080i! At 8 p.m. I'm tuning in to RaveHD (a VOOM channel on Dish Network) for a 2004 concert performance by Sheryl Crow. Her "C'mon America" show was recorded in high-def from Dayton, Ohio, so c'mon and join her!

Following the concert, I'll make the switch over to Discovery-HD. At 9 p.m., it's time for Austin Powers: Shagmaster Stevens: Snakemaster in 1080i. I'm all for watching snakes from a distance in high-def; I really don't need to be right there!
