UK to get Final Fantasy XI 360 beta in January

Japanese Xbox 360 customers can play the Final Fantasy XI beta from day one, thanks to a disc included with the special launch package, but the rest of the world has so far looked on in envy. Fortunately, some of you will be able to get your hands on the 360's first MMO in January—the UK's Official Xbox 360 Magazine will include a FFXI beta disc for readers to try.

Europe is not usually the first port of call for MMO betas, so it's nice to be included for once; however, we have no word on when Americans will be able to beta-test FFXI, so perhaps it's time to start sweet-talking your British chums.
