Majesco sells off The Darkness and Ghost Rider licenses

After financial troubles relating to titles Advent Rising and Psychonauts, publisher Majesco has announced they have raised $8 million from selling off the rights to both The Darkness and Ghost Rider. Fans may recognize The Darkness' developer,
Starbreeze, as the rookies responsible for last year's surprise hit The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay. You can breathe a sigh of relief as one of their developers confirmed the title's progress will continue: "We've known about this for a while. It's found a good home and ultimately will be a better game for the deal." If Riddick

was any indication, this will be a must-have 360 title.
