MSFT's CTO asks good Xbox Live questions

Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie is the subject of
a New York Times story
that asks whether he can reprogram the company to step up to the challenge presented by Google. In the story, we're reminded of a 5,000 word internal Microsoft memo that was eventually leaked to the world. In it, Ozzie writes:

CONNECTED ENTERTAINMENT – How can XBox Live benefit from interconnection with other services assets, such as PC-based and mobile-based IM and VoIP? How might both the PC and XBox mutually benefit from a common marketplace? Might PC users act as spectators/participants in XBox games, and vice-versa?"

How would you like to see PC and Xbox integrate? What sorts of benefits can you imagine arising out of a unified gaming marketplace?
