MGS3: Subsistence movie coming to theaters in Japan

Remember that three-hour cutscene compilation coming to gamers on
the Existence disc of Metal Gear Solid 3:
Subsistence
? Well, the in-game engine's getting a proper cinematic screening this month, and if you're a lucky registrant (in Japan, of course), you and a "solid" buddy can catch the movie when it comes out at the Oribe Hall in Tokyo on December 22nd.

Konami wunderkind Hideo Kojima will be on-hand to make some opening remarks for the flick, which will feature "new cutscenes, narration, and remastered sound" over that which was found in MGS3. The only thing we're disturbed by—besides the fact that will has only been announced for Japan up to this point—is that it's implied that only "the first shipment [of Subsistence] includes a third disc that features the film."

So, what, does that mean the movie bonus disc is restricted like the Xenosaga 1 cutscenes disc (packed with pre-orders of the sequel), or the oh-so-limited edition of the 360's media remote that will only come with the next-gen Xboxes shipped this year? Say it ain't so, Snake!
