Dec. 20: What's on HDTV today
What we're watching: Network television, you just let us down! All of the primetime high-def shows are a repeat, save one. Normally, I wouldn't watch "Rodney" on ABC at 8:30 p.m., but I have to give a shout out to the show since it's the only new HD
episode on tonight. Before that, however, I'm heading over to Showtime-HD around dinnertime.
I loved the Michael Crichton book "Timeline" when I read it a few years back. In fact (and this will be on Jeopardy! someday) it's the first eBook I ever read. Since then, I've gone exclusively to digital print for books and magazines.
Oh wait, this is about TV; I almost forgot. So the movie adaptation of "Timeline" is on at 6 p.m. in 1080i. I
heard it wasn't great on the big screen, but then again, very few movie adaptations of books are.
After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
