World of Warcraft players tackle spammers in a festive way
If you've ever played
WoW, you've probably observed the seemingly-endless deluge of "WTS" (want to sell) adverts that plague Ironforge and Orgrimmar. Even with some of these trade-channel spammers being gold farmers, there's no way to actually shut them up, other than adding them to your personal ignore list or leaving the channel.
Or is there? Some players decided to take matters into their own hands; using the conveniently provided snowballs, they ganged up on one unfortunate gold farmer, driving her out of Ironforge. While snowballs do no damage, it's an innovative way to get rid of spammers, provided you can find them through the lag. The gold farmers are just doing their jobs; depending on your stance, that could justify being nicer to them or throwing an extra snowball or two.
