Dec 24: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching: I wish there was some good high-def Christmas programming to tell you about, but it's slim pickin's tonight. The closest I can do for you is 1998's "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on ABC at 9 p.m. in 720p. By that time, my kids will be in bed; not asleep of course, it's Christmas Eve! They will be in bed, so I'll be watching one of my favorites in high-definition: "Gladiator". No, that won't get me in the Christmas spirit, but boy if that isn't a great movie in 1080i! Feel free to get those last minute gifts wrapped early and join me at 8 p.m. onTNT-HD. Ok, so maybe I'll have to send the kids to bed an hour earlier...
