ATI slings some mud at the PS3
Richard Huddy is the European Developers Relations Manager at ATI and in a recent interview had some words to say about the PS3. While the interview was informative about the Xbox 360, he mentioned that he believes the PlayStation 3 has serious brute force capabilities,
but is essentially "unrefined". Riddled with a technical point of view, the interview entails the topics of the Cell processor, next-gen GPUs and elegance.
From the article: "Well, yeah, but the tragedy is that it is unrefined. There's a lot brute force in there – I'd be the last person to admit it, but the truth is that the 7800GTX is a pretty powerful piece of hardware, but it's not very elegant."
