Sharp boosting LCD production by 10%

Here is a fine example of flat panel manufactures gearing up for the widely popular World Cup. First, Hitachi and now Sharp. They are raising their production by 10% after not meeting the demand for flat panels back in October. They now plan on producing, and hopefully selling, 20 million units by March; up from 15 million before the reassessment.

My goodness. These manufacturers are ready to sell these flat screens aren't they? Check this out: they are making more of them from new plants that are being built. The supply is increasing. The options are increasing. What else do you need in order to buy one of these sets?

Really, what are you waiting for? Me...better blacks. Then I will buy one.
