Xbox 360 to cash in by July '06

Console launches are no stranger to speculation concerning production costs. Even by recent numbers it looks like Microsoft has to bite the bullet on losses per console. However, Microsoft believes that the Xbox 360 could take it to the bank in profits by this next July.

Not unlike the original Xbox's predicament, many believe it will take a certain blockbuster game to make that turn-around. After all, Halo 2 spurred the Xbox division's most profitable quarter back in the day.
